China’s natural wonders and artificial magic meet in this astounding glass suspension bridge spanning one of the deepest canyons in Zhangjiajie. Walk across if you dare. The views of the broccoli-small forest in the valley floor, hundreds of metres below, are so dizzying that even those with a head for heights walk close to the railings. It’s all in the mind – the glass is strong enough to withstand several herds of elephants, and once you’ve conquered the vertigo you’ll be ready to zip line back across the canyon, bungee jump or even rock climb.
