As with anywhere else, the key ingredients to a luxury break in Paternoster are the accommodation and location. Situated in a dreamy spot with minimal vehicle or foot traffic and vast, unbroken sea views. Given the idyllic position, the guests have private access to a beautiful patch of indigenous Strandveld, which leads directly onto Bek Bay Beach.

Mist Room: Luxury Queen, en suite with shower, upper level – no patio, sea facing with panoramic sea views.

Tranquil Room: Superior King / Twin, en-suite with shower, entrance off the courtyard / pool area, lower level, private sea facing patio to the side of the guesthouse.

Boulders Suite: Luxury King / Twin, en-suite with bath and shower, upper level – no sea views, lounge with one twin bed and private balcony, private exterior staircase entrance.

Breakfast

Expect some of the most spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean while enjoying freshly prepared breakfast on the upstairs indoor-outdoor terrace area.

We serve a cold selection of homemade muesli, creamy yoghurt and honey, fresh-baked bread or croissants with preserves, and cheese and ham. This is followed by a hot daily special, which often includes South African specialities such as our snoek (fish found off the West Coast) omelette, or you can opt for a hearty English breakfast.

Breakfast is served between 08:30 and 09:45, which allows for an early morning stroll on the beach or a late lie in. Guests are welcome to request an earlier breakfast, by prior arrangement, from 08:00 onwards.

Afternoon Tea

After a day of sightseeing, lazing at the beach, or languishing at our guesthouse plunge pool, you can help yourself to complimentary coffee, tea and confectionaries. Afternoon tea is served from 16:00 upstairs in the guesthouse lounge.
