Where is the lodge located? It is situated 400 metres above sea level in the Chamarel valley, within the Black River Gorges natural heritage site. It is approximately one hour from both the airport and the capital, Port Louis, and 10–15 minutes from the nearest beaches.

Is there an age policy for children? The lodge generally accepts children aged 12 and above. While some private villas can accommodate younger children (typically ages 8 to 12), the property’s hillside location and overall atmosphere make it better suited for older children or adults.

Is it suitable for those with limited mobility? No, due to the lodge being built into the hillside, it is not recommended for individuals with restricted mobility.

What are the check-in and check-out times? Check-in is from 2:00 pm, and check-out is by 11:30 am.
