Great Rift Valley

Great Rift Valley in Kenya is deepest to the north of Nairobi, which is approximately 7,000 kilometres (4,300 mi) in total length. It starts in Tanzania to the south and continues northward into Ethiopia. The lake Turkana, Lake Logipi, Lake Baringo, Lake Bogoria, Lake Nakuru, Lake Elmenteita, Lake Magadi and Lake Naivasha are essential to support its current biological activities. But the only lakes with freshwater are Lake Baringo and Lake Naivasha.

This region provides a sparkling shore for flock of birds and a paradise for plenty of wildlife, while offering some of the most breathtaking natural sceneries in a diverse mix of mind blowing escarpments, prominent mountains, indigenous forests, crystal clear lakes and beautiful savannahs.

There are leopards and black rhinos in an increasing amount at the surrounding of the lake Nakuru; and at the meantime flock of flamingos can be spotted profusely at the lake. Many other wild animals like giraffes, zebras, elephants, species of deer, lions and tigers can be found impressively with a soothing beauty throughout the region.
