Nairobi – the capital and the largest city in Kenya. The name ”Nairobi” derived from the Masai people (Meaning – Cool Water) as the river (Nairobi) flowed through the city.This city quickly grew with its organizations, businesses and buildings to replace Mombasa as the Capital of Kenya in 1907. In 1963, Nairobi became the capital of the Republic of Kenya after the independence. It is a home to many travellers, adventurers, cultures, business organizations, companies and townies. Apart from a busy city life, Nairobi and surroundings offer a peaceful environment with parks, jogging spots, nature trails and free open space for those who need some relaxation and adventure.
