Accommodation

The Thatch House accommodates its guests in seven expansive hotel suites. Each suite is tailored to the finest detail with bespoke furniture, wall coverings and art. Guests can enjoy the view of either Hermanus Lagoon or the Cape Fold Mountains.

Lagoon Waterfall Suite: This is the largest suite that The Thatch House has to offer. With views over the lagoon this suite includes a king size bed, private outdoor terrace and own private sauna.

Lagoon Flamingo Suite: In the tones of purple and pink this room is located on the ground floor leading on to the gardens and it’s own private patio overlooking the lagoon.

Lagoon Pincushion Suite: This suite can be ideal for families as it’s got adjoining rooms. It leads on to a private patio with views of the lagoon and gardens, with it’s own private wood fired hot tub.

Lagoon Suite: Situated on the upper floor of the hotel, it’s the perfect suite to relax and watch the sunrise from your balcony overlooking the lagoon.

Fern: Decorated with a lush green colours and textures, this suite is situated on the ground floor and perfect for families. It includes a king size bed and lounge area with queen size sleeper couch as well as a private decked garden patio that overlooks the mountains.

Milkwood: This suite celebrates the natural colours and offers king style bed as well as views of the garden and mountains.

Paradise: The most recent added suite. Guests have their own private pool deck and patio overlooking the mountains. Beautifully decorated with a retro kind of style it is the perfect getaway.

Dining

The restaurant at The Thatch House offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Breakfast: An a la carte breakfast served from 8am-11am.

Lunch: A la carte lunch menu served in the in lounge or outside, 13pm-15pm.

Dinner: A la carte menu with fresh and seasonal local produce. Served from 17.30-20.30 pm.
